Sara Elizabeth Odum, age 37, of Jackson, GA, entered heaven  Thursday, January 11, 2018 at her residence. She reunited with her late husband and the love of her life, David, who passed away on December 18, 2017. Together they are dancing among the heavens. Sara was born on Monday, October 27, 1980 in Oberlin, Ohio to Sherry Lynn Trickel. Sara lived most of her life in Elyria, Ohio before moving to Georgia in 2012. She married her soulmate David on December 2013.

Sara was very talented in arts and crafts and enjoyed drawing and painting. She was a past volunteer for the senior center often making the bingo prizes and teaching jewelry making.

Sara is survived by her mother, Sherry Trickel, brothers, Andrew and Ryan; niece, Katelyn and mother-in-law Betty Sue Duke; fur babies, Magic, Tucker, Trixie and Nugget.

A funeral service for Mrs. Sara Odum will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 19, 2018 in Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Pastor Greg Johns officiating. Interment will follow in the Jackson City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home two hours prior to the service.
