Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Lunsford Mays, age 84, of Forsyth, GA passed away on Friday, July 10, 2020 at Monroe County Hospital.

Mrs. Mays was born on Sunday, September 22, 1935 in Forsyth to the late William Cullen Lunsford and the late Bertha Elizabeth Bently Lunsford. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Henry Mays, Sr. Sarah retired from Regency Inn, where she worked as a hotel clerk. She loved her cat, Callie.

Sarah is survived by her children and their spouses, Elizabeth Mays & Brian Gauthier and Charles H. & Sherry Mays; grandchildren, Michelle Webb (Machell), Kristina Mays (Tim), Jeremy Mays (Alicia), Kyle Cotton (Heather), Steven Mays, Austin Mays (Kylee); 11 great-grandchildren; 1great great-grandchild; sister, Jenny Lou Mercer; several nieces and nephews also survive.

A graveside service for Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Mays will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. in Forsyth Cemetery with Pastor Stan Harrell officiating.
