Mrs. Sarah Alice Wilmot, age 72, of Jackson, GA, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Sylvan Grove Hospital. Sarah was born on Wednesday, June 9, 1943 in Atlanta, GA to the late Henry T. Martin and the late Juanita Martin. She was loved by everyone she met. Sarah loved her puppies, gardening, and traveling. She is preceded in death by two sisters, Joyce Orr and Cookie Atkins.

Sarah is survived by her husband, Larry G. Wilmot; children, Gwen Henley, Harold Wilmot and Ann, Larry J. Wilmot and Arvella, Randy Lee Wilmot and Gayleen, Glenn Wilmot and Deanna; grandchildren, Scott Wilmot, Todd Wilmot, Kimberly and Grafton Rabun, Brittany and Travis Allen, and Lauren Wilmot; great-granddaughter, Brylie; brothers, William Major Martin, Henry Martin; sisters, Katherine Closek, Kay Davis, Cheryl Crowe; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Wilmot will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Reverend Lane Sanders officiating. Interment will follow at Jackson City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday evening.
