Mrs. Sharlene K. Sanders, 60, of Barnesville, passed away Friday, July 24, 2015 at the Macon Medical Center. Mrs. Sanders was born August 16, 1954 in Atlanta, daughter of the late Ralph L. and Eloise Ragan Farris. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. Mrs. Sanders was a Legal Secretary for Caldwell and Irvin Attorneys in Thomaston for 14 years. She loved gardening, animals, and reading.

Survivors include her husband of 18 years, Lewis George Sanders of Barnesville; stepson and stepdaughter-in-law, Dustin Guy and Maria Sanders, two grandchildren, Evan Sanders and Mia Sanders all of Griffin; sister, Marcia Kinney of Griffin; mother-in-law, Jean George Sanders of Griffin; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Ellen and Bobby Joe Dutton of Griffin; brothers-in-law, Ray Sanders of Milner and Steve Sanders, of Griffin; aunt, Rose Gasses of Barnesville; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Linda Martin, Anita Rodriguez, and Susie Martin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Lewis Alvin Sanders.

Funeral services for Mrs. Sharlene K. Sanders, will be at 11:00 Monday at Antioch Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Morgan and Rev. Ryan Christopher officiating. Interment will be at Lamar Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
