Mrs. Shirley Faye Hardy Williamson, age 76, of Jackson, Georgia passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023.

Shirley was born on Tuesday, March 25, 1947, in Jackson, Georgia to the late Robert Joseph Hardy and the late Pauline Virginia Jefferies Hardy. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James "Doc" Williamson; son, James Watson Williamson; granddaughter, Jessica June Williamson; and brother, William Ray Hardy. She attended Relevant Church in Locust Grove, Georgia and earned a degree in horticulture and landscape design. Shirley enjoyed quilting, sewing, embroidery, crochet, and gardening. She especially loved spending time with her great grands, Stephen, RJ, and Vayda.

Shirley is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Wanda Williamson Giddens and her husband, Ellis; granddaughter, Alexis Rae Giddens Davis and her husband, Jake; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Pebbles Coffey; special family, Misty and Jeremy Potts, Trisha and Brian Singleton, and Dennis "Bubba" Ivey.

A funeral service for Mrs. Shirley Williamson will take place on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. at the Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Mr. Rudy Mangham officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Shirley's memory to Brightmoor Hospice, 3247 Newnan Road, Griffin, Georgia 30223.
