Ms. Sonya Dee Moore, age 50, of Locust Grove, GA died Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Sacred Journey Hospice. She was born March 29, 1961 in Monticello, GA to Dickie and Sandra McWaters Moore. She enjoyed football, sports, and loved spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Sonya is survived by 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Keith and Rebekah Wood, of Honolulu, HI, Dale and Jessica Wood, of Summerville, SC; 2 granddaughters, Gracie and Meghan Wood; sister and brother-in-law, Maria and P-nut Barnes, of Jackson; maternal grandfather, Pete Wilder, of Locust Grove; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Vickie Moore. A Celebration of Life will be held by the family at 7:00 PM Thursday evening at 250 James Moore Drive, Jackson, GA.
