Susan Michelle Carter, age 54, of Jackson, GA, died Monday, April 9, 2012. She was born January 16, 1958 in Griffin, GA to Betty Harris Hardy and the late A. J. Hardy. Susan served in the U.S. Army. Susan is survived by her husband, William Carter, of Jackson; 2 daughters, Victoria Dianne Carter, of Senoia, Michelle Leigh Carter, of Jackson; son, Justin Carter, of Jackson; granddaughters, Andi Hardy, Hailey Johnson, Ciarra Pruitt; mother, Betty Harris Hardy, of Jackson; sister, Nancy Dolan, of Newfoundland. Funeral services for Susan Carter will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Stark United Methodist Church with Rev. James Brock officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
