Mr. Terry William Smith, age 74, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 17, 2024.

Terry was born March 11, 1950, in Buffalo, New York. Terry served in the United States Army with the rank of Sergeant First Class and later worked as an IT technician. He was a pilot and flew Ultra Lite airplanes. Terry enjoyed being outdoors, especially camping and fishing. He was always good at fixing things and enjoyed tinkering. Most of all, Terry loved his family.

Terry is survived by his wife, Kathy Mashanic-Smith; daughter and son-in-law, Misty and Whit Brown; daughter-in-law and son-in-law, Kara Smith-Javins and Cody Javins; grandchildren, Ashley and Benjamin Wells, Alexander Galentine, Lane Smith, Whit Brown III; great-grandchildren, Audrey, Addison, Easton; sisters, Elaine, Cheri, Pat, Kathy Jean; brother, Jack; nieces and nephews.

Terry is preceded in death by his mother, Wilma Smith; son, Terry Smith, Jr; sister, Sharon Phillips.

The family will have a Celebration of Life at a later time.
