Mrs. Thelma Evelyn Delores Brooks Strickland, age 76, of Milner passed away Wednesday, September 02, 2015 in a Spalding Healthcare Facility. Mrs. Strickland was born in Spalding County to the late Mr. Calvin L. Brooks and the late Mrs. Martha Smith Brooks. She was a Machine operator for the Carter's Mill and a member of Rock Springs Church. Mrs. Strickland is preceded in death by her Husband, Mr. Albert R. Strickland, and her Sister, Marie Cavender.

Survivors include her 2 Sons – Van Strickland (& Cheryl) of Barnesville ; Calvin Strickland (& Cindy) of Milner ; a Granddaughter – Layla Corley (& Ray) of Griffin ; 4 Grandsons – Ian Strickland (& Amy) of Griffin ; Levi Strickland of Barnesville ; Richard Strickland of Milner ; & Jeremiah Strickland ; 5 Great Grandchildren – Taylor Wall (& Sterlin) ; Cassidy Blackmon ; Ava Claire Strickland ; Hayden Strickland ; & Bradley Strickland ; a Great Great Grandchild – Miley Wall ; and a number of Nieces, Nephews, and other relatives also survive.

A Visitation for Mrs. Thelma Strickland will be held Friday, September 4, 2015 at the Williams Funeral Home from 5pm until 7pm. All other services will be private.
