Mr. Thomas "Corry" Evans, age 93, of Milner passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2012 in a Barnesville Healthcare Facility. Mr. Evans was born in Pike County to the late Mr. John Thomas Evans and the late Mrs. Nettie Lee Bass Evans. He was a retired Textile worker, and a member of the Milner Baptist Church. Mr. Evans served as a Baptist Deacon for 70 plus years, and was also a Sunday School Teacher. Mr. Evans was preceded in death by his late Wife, Mrs. Bonnie Lillian Evans.

Survivors include his Nieces and Nephews – Wayne (& Elaine) Evans of Milner ; Gayle Brown of Barnesville ; Lynda (& Alton) Kendrick of Barnesville ; Nancy (& Tony) Jackson of Barnesville ; also several Great Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Funeral Services for Mr. Thomas "Corry" Evans will be conducted at 11 O' Clock on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at the Milner Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Milner Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Williams Funeral Home on Tuesday evening, February 14, 2012 from 6pm until 8pm.
