Mr. Thomas William "Tom" Shaw, age 76, of Jackson, GA, passed away Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Westbury Medical Care Home.

Tom was born on Monday, March 14, 1938 in Pontiac, Michigan to the late Robert William Shaw and the late Elizabeth Pollock Shaw. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force with eleven years of service. Tom was preceded in death by his brother, Bob Shaw. He was a self-employed truck driver. Tom was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Jackson.

Mr. Shaw is survived by his wife, Carolyn Webster Shaw; children, Dawn Alexander, Barry and Julie Alexander, Susan Meadows, Tommy Wilson and Danita Murray; grandchildren, Tiffany and Derron Lunsford, Ryan and Whitney Alexander; great-grandchildren, Landen Lunsford, Malorie Lunsford, Grant Lunsford, and Mackenzie Alexander; brothers, Jon Shaw and Jim Shaw.

Memorial services for Mr. Tom Shaw will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Macedonia Baptist Church with Reverend Lane Sanders and Reverend Tom Miller officiating.
