Timothy Wayne Prickett, 64, of Forsyth, Georgia entered into the presence of his Lord on Sunday, March 22, 2026, after a long battle with cancer.
Born on Sunday, February 18, 1962, in Kokomo, Indiana, Tim has lived his life rooted in faith, family and devotion. He loved deeply, gave freely, and walked with strength through both joy and hardship. He was always someone you could call upon for help, prayer, or an electrical code question. His life was a testimony of perseverance, commitment, humility, and total trust in God. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Wade and Peggy Prickett. He is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer Prickett; 4 children, Amanda (Matt) Whitaker, Kayla (Blake) Fransen, Michael Prickett, Rylee (Jake) Walters; 4 grandchildren, Peyton Whitaker (14), Wade Fransen (14), Kensli McElwaney (6), and Lou Walters (1); 7 siblings, Bobby (Sandy) Prickett, Bette Hodges, Barbara Pollard, Kim (Mark) Pankratz, Chris (Janice) Prickett, Tony (Brenda) Prickett, Jason (Missy) Prickett; Aunt Bitsy; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Above all, Tim followed the Lord. As a pastor for almost 20 years and a licensed electrician for over 30 years he loved to share his knowledge of Jesus & the code. He loved family time. His love, guidance, witness & presence will remain in his family's hearts forever.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at Sherrell-Westbury Funeral Home, 212 East College Street, Jackson, GA 30233, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. at Southpoint Church, 166 Pulliam Drive Jackson, GA 30233. Interment will follow at Paran Baptist Church Cemetery, 5691 SR-42 N., Forsyth, GA 31029.
