Thomas Michael (Tom) Dobranski, age 69, of Jackson, GA, passed away Monday, January 27, 2014 at his residence. He was born on September 9, 1944 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Andrew Dobranski and the late Genevieve Walkerwicz Dobranski. Tom was a member of Stark United Methodist Church. He served in the U.S. Air Force in crash rescue. Tom was a lifetime firefighter. He responded to the terrorist attacks on 9/11/2001 and was also hands-on with TWA Flight 800. He is preceded in death by his brother, Robert Dobranski.

Tom is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary Bohan Dobranski of Jackson; children, Marie Flanagan, Joseph Flanagan and his spouse, Paula, and Jason Dobranski; grandchildren, Garrett Routh, Anastasia Flanagan, and Joshua Flanagan.

Memorial services for Tom Dobranski will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday, January 31, 2014 at Stark United Methodist Church with Reverend Frank Brock officiating. Those who wish may sign the online guest registry at www.sherrell-westburyfh.com.
