Obituary

Mrs. Tracy Darlene Cato, age 45, of Barnesville passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at her residence. A native of Upson County, Mrs. Cato was the Daughter of the late Mr. William H. "Tony" Smith, Jr. and the late Mrs. Frances Evelyn Guy Smith. Mrs. Cato was preceded in death by her parents, along with her biological father, Mr. Vernon Cato, and a Step-Brother, Mr. Jimmy Morris Smith. She had been a Textile Worker with The William Carter Company, and had also worked with Southern Terry as a Screen Printer.


Survivors include: Her 2 Sons - Levi Strickland of Milner, & Jonathan Smith of Barnesville ; 2 Sisters - Diane Martin, & Wonda Smith, both of Barnesville ; 2 Brothers - Keith Kennedy of Thomaston, & Tommy Kennedy of Hampton ; 4 Step-Brothers - Bill Smith of Florida, Tommy Smith of Barnesville, Bobby Smith of Milner, & Mark Smith of Griffin ; 1 Step-Sister - Cindy Pruitt of Barnesville ; 1 Grand Daughter - Mackenzie Kennedy of Griffin ; & Several Nieces & Nephews also survive.


Funeral Services for Mrs. Tracy Cato will be conducted Friday, February 26, 2010 at 3 O'Clock in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Thursday evening (2-25-10) from 6pm until 8pm.


The family has asked, that in lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions be made to The Tracy Darlene Cato Memorial Fund, c/o First National Bank of Barnesville, 315 Thomaston Street, Barnesville, GA 30204.
