Mrs. Vickie Lynn Carson Mason, age 69, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away on Monday, July 3, 2023.

Vickie was born on Sunday, November 22, 1953, in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Lewis Frank Carson Sr and the late Lois Browning Carson.  Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Jeanne Standridge. Vickie loved to QVC shop, collect garden flags, watching lady bugs and red birds. She loved to spend time at the beach.

Vickie is survived by her husband of 50 years, Lanny Mason; son, Gary Mason Jr., daughter and son-in-law, Jill and Jason Jones; grandchildren, Megan Mason, Marlie Stone, Tori Mason, Mason Stone, Sara Mason; sisters and brother-in-laws Shirley and David Mathis, Sherry and Chris Byars; brother and sister-in-law Frank and Robin Carson; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service for Mrs. Vickie Mason will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at the Sherrell Memorial Chapel at 11:00 A.M. with Frank Carson officiating. Interment will follow at Worthville Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Friday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
