Mrs. Violet "Toppie" Rosita Holland Powell, age 75, of Griffin, Georgia passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2022.

Toppie was born on Friday, February 28, 1947, in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Alfred Holland and the late Sylvia Ward Holland. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jon Thomas Powell.

Toppie is survived by her children, Henry T. Boggs and Sheila Jones, Angela Thaxton and Carey, Buddy Boggs and Katrina, Dee Crankshaw; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

There will be no formal service at this time.
