Mrs. Virginia Lynne Powell Burnette, age 63, of Barnesville, GA, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2020 at her residence.

Mrs. Burnette was born on Monday, August 27, 1956 to the late Vernon Powell and Virginia Rainey Powell. She is also preceded in death by her husband, James Henry Burnette. Virginia was a homemaker and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She was a foster parent, having fostered 70 children.

Virginia is survived by her children and their spouses, Lynn Alverson, Krystal & Shad Haneline, Chet & Jocelyn Burnette; grandchildren, Kayla Blair, Ashley Deems, Cassie Hobert, Brooklyn Baker, Baileigh Baker; great grandchildren, Jorden Blair, Aria Blair, Savannah Blair; mother, Virginia Powell.

A memorial service for Mrs. Virginia Burnette will be announced at a later date.
