Mrs. Virginia Carol Hambrick Carr, Age 70 of Barnesville passed away Friday September 10, 2010 at a Clayton County Healthcare Facility. She was born to the late Mr. Homer Hambrick and to the late Mrs. Thelma Bethune Hambrick. She was also preceded in death by her husband Benjamin Hawkins Carr. She was a member of the Pine View Baptist Church.

Survivors Include; Daughter- Denise Bernard (& Norman) 2 Grandchildren – Benjamin & Daniel Bernard; Sister- Vivian Jamerson; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services for Mrs. Virginia Carol Hambrick Carr will be conducted on Tuesday September 14, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. Ken Shearer officiating, with interment following in Lamar Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
