Mrs. Virginia Marie Dalton, age 91, of Jackson, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2016 at Eternal Hope Hospice in Griffin. She was born on Wednesday, June 18, 1924 in Cleveland, OH to the late Fredrick Albert Hansen and the late Theresa Stemple Hansen. Mrs. Dalton was married to the late Robert J. Dalton for 61 wonderful years.

Virginia is survived by her daughter, Kathy Prather; sons, Michael Joseph Dalton, Patrick William Dalton, Timothy James Dalton, Lawrence Fredrick Dalton, Gerald Christopher Dalton, John Francis Dalton, David Ashley Dalton; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She will be remembered as the most wonderful, loving, caring wife and mother we have ever spent our lives with.
