Mrs. Virginia Louise Cherry Legge, age 74, of Barnesville passed away Monday, February 7, 2011 in a Bibb County Healthcare Facility. Mrs. Legge was born in Fulton County to the late Mr. Max Redmond Cherry and the late Mrs. Inez Rumble Cherry. She was a Graduate of Gordon Grammar School, Gordon High School, and Auburn University. Mrs. Legge was an accomplished Artist, and an avid supporter of Lamar Arts. She Retired as a Student Data Coordinator / Administrator for the Decatur City School System.

Mrs. Legge is survived by: Her Husband - Mr. Ed Legge of Barnesville ; 2 Sons - Ed (& Jodi) Legge, Jr. of Alexandria, VA : & Max Legge of Longmont, CO ; 4 Grandchildren - Julia, Cole, Josh, & Nick ; and Her Sister - Ann Haisten.
