Mrs. Virginia Lee Nye Stephens, age 87, of Barnesville passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2011 in a Spalding County Healthcare Facility. Mrs. Stephens was born in Portland, Oregon to the late Mr. Cecil Lee Nye and the late Mrs. Leola Sprouls Nye, but had made her home in Barnesville for a number of years. She was an LPN for the Spalding County Hospital, a Volunteer for The Red Cross with 60 years of service, and a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Milner.

Survivors include 3 Sons – Michael (& Patty) Stephens of Barnesville ; Brian (& Pam) Stephens of Barnesville ; & Robert Lewis of Pacific Grove, CA ; 7 Grandchildren ; 4 Great Grandchildren ; & a lifelong friend – Bill Lewis of Monterey, CA.

Funeral Services for Ms. Virginia Stephens will be Private.
