Mrs. Vivian C. Johnson, age 79, of Barnesville passed away Saturday, October 2, 2010 in a Monroe County Healthcare facility. She was a life long resident of Lamar County. Mrs. Johnson was the daughter of the late Mr. Roy Lee Coleman and the late Mrs. Violet Williams Coleman. Mrs. Johnson was a life long member of the First Baptist Church of Barnesville and an active member of The Martha Class. She is retired from Carter Mills after many years service. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by a son: P. J. Johnson.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by a son : Phillip A. Johnson; sister: Rosa Lee Pippen; several nieces, nephews, family and special friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3 O'clock Monday October 4, 2010 at the First Baptist Church of Barnesville with the Rev. Garth Forester and The Rev. Jarred Day officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the Annex of the First Baptist Church from 2 O'clock until the service hour.
