Mrs. Vivian J. McDaniel, age 73, of Barnesville, passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Navicent Medical Center. She was born in Thomaston, Georgia on Friday, July 28, 1944 to the late Allen William Johnson and the late Mae Ruth Roberts Johnson. Vivian loved to travel. She was a member of Good Hope Pentecostal Church for 35 years. Vivian loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Russell McDaniel, Sr.

Vivian is survived by her children, Kathy Lynn McDaniel, Mack (Kay) McDaniel, Abe (Leigh) McDaniel; 5 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary "Doll Baby" (Herman) Nicholson, Sharon Herndon; brothers, Larry (Diane) Johnson, Rex (Barbara) Johnson, Kenneth Johnson; several nieces and nephews

Funeral services for Mrs. Vivian McDaniel will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Good Hope Pentecostal Church, with Reverend Bill Cox officiating. Interment will follow in the Lamar Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M.
