Mr. W. Raymond Etheridge, age 74, of Barnesville passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2011 in a Macon Healthcare facility. Mr. Etheridge was born in Monroe, Co. to the late Mr. Willie Elijah Etheridge and the late Mrs. Mary Virginia Roquemore Etheridge. He was retired as a Farm Research Manager for the University of Georgia, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Barnesville.

Survivors include - His Wife Barbara B. Etheridge of Barnesville ; 4 Sons – Tim (& Michelle) Etheridge of Forsyth ; Dan (& Susan) Etheridge of Barnesville ; Don (& Lucy) Etheridge of Forsyth ; & Jay (& Leigh) Etheridge of Forsyth ; 1 Daughter – Becky (& Kenny) Henderson of Forsyth ; 1 Step-Daughter – LeeAnn (& Gary) Willis of Barnesville ; 1 Brother – Rev. Franklin (& Annie) Etheridge of Forsyth ; 1 Sister – Frances Black of Beverly, Mass. ; 13 Grandchildren ; & 8 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Mr. Raymond Etheridge will be conducted Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 11 O'Clock in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Fredonia Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Friday, February 25, 2011 from 6pm until 8pm.
