Mr. Walter Howard Niblett, age 94 of Barnesville, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.
Howard was born on Tuesday, February 4, 1930, in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late Euel F. Niblett and the late Lutie A. Niblett. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Anne Niblett; son, Donald Niblett; brothers, James Niblett, David Niblett; sisters, Betty Niblett Tidwell, Janie Niblett Darden, Margie Niblett; sister-in-law, Virginia Niblett.
Howard was a Deacon of Rock Springs Church, where he loved being in Church and loved the Lord. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved his family, and always enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was the nicest man on the planet and would do anything for anybody.
Howard is survived by, his granddaughters; Nikki Browning, Sara Moyer, Heather Cunningham, Susan Niblett; great-grandkids, Naomi Browning, Kaia Browning, Nolen Browning, Kadence Clark, Emma Moyer, Rylan Moyer, Madison Wade, Joshua Wade, Eli Youghn, Wilder Niblett; brothers, Kelly Niblett, Charles Niblett (BettyJo); sister, Mildred Sims (Larry),Martha Gant; sister-in-law, Inda Niblett Shirley, several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A funeral service for Mr. Walter Howard Niblett will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at Rock Springs Church with Dr. Benny Tate officiating. Interment will follow in Rock Springs Church Cemetery. Friends may visit the family one hour prior to the service at Rock Springs Church.
