Mrs. Wanda Sue Harris King, age 63, of Jackson, Georgia passed away on Monday, September 25, 2023.

Wanda was born on Saturday, February 27, 1960, in Griffin, Georgia to the late Tommy Harris and Jean Fallin Harris. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Pam Harris Kennedy. She was Customer Service Manager with Ingles Grocery Store and was of Baptist faith.  Wanda enjoyed cooking, baking cakes, and shopping at Dollar Tree.  She loved going to Disney World and vacationing at the beach. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Wanda is survived by her husband of 20 years, Douglas King; children and spouse, Daniel and Keri Gaddy, Jenna Long; grandchildren, Brynnlee Goen, Ansley Gaddy, Jace Goen; sister and brother-in-law, Cindy and Bubba Hood, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service for Mrs. Wanda King will be held on Sunday, October 1, 2023, at 4:00 P.M. at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Mr. Rudy Mangham officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. prior to the service at the funeral home.
