Mr. Wilbert Allen Smith, age 61, of Jackson, GA, formerly of Monticello, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Westbury Medical Care Home. He was born on Tuesday, June 7, 1955 in Atlanta, GA to Wilbert Eston Smith and the late Alice Marie Dudley Smith. Allen was of the Pentecostal faith. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Allen coached softball for many years. He loved spending time with his granddaughter.

Allen is survived by his wife of 42 years, Ann Smith; son and daughter-in-law, David and Kimberly Smith of Monticello; grandchildren, Jessie and James Greenway, Hunter, Emily, and Lilly; great-granddaughter, Maylie; father, Wilbert Smith of Cleveland, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dennis and Sandy Smith, Mark and Sonya Smith; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Matt Johnston; mother-in-law, Hazel Stitcher; in-laws, Michael and Bonnie Stitcher, Audrey and Wayne Chandler; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
