Mr. Wilford "Billy" Fincher, age 79, of Jackson, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Wellstar Spalding Regional Hospital. Billy was born in, Jackson, GA on Friday, August 27, 1937 to the late Morgan Fincher and the late Estelle Britt Fincher. He loved fishing, woodwork, flowers, and yardwork. Billy was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Catherine McMichael Fincher; son, Ronnie Fincher; great-granddaughter, Gracie Hughes; brothers, Bob and Oren; sisters, Pauline, Clarice, and Elsie.

Billy is survived by his wife, Doris Fincher; son and daughters-in-law, Barry and Kay Fincher, Dianne Fincher; grandchildren, Natalie Fincher Kitchens, Kaley Batten and Levi, Bethany Fincher Hughes and Ray, B.J. Fincher, Hannah Fincher; and 7 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services for Mr. Billy Fincher will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Mr. Rudy Mangham officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service and at other times at the home of Barry and Kay Fincher.
