Miss Willene Weaver, age 76, of Jackson, GA passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at WellStar Spalding Regional Hospital in Griffin.  She was born on Tuesday, September 2, 1941 in Jackson, Georgia to the late William Session Weaver and the late Juanita Gardener Weaver.  Willene was a member of Jackson United Methodist Church. She loved church trips, taking care of Doodle Bug and going to the senior center. Willene enjoyed visiting her friends at United Bank in Jackson and the City Pharmacy.

Willene is survived by her cat, Doodle Bug; sister and brother-in-law, Charlene and Rick Karr of Jackson; nieces and nephews, Tina Glover of Richmond, KY, Charles "Chuck" and Rita Glover of Wimauma, FL; great nephews, Dru Jockers, Steven Jockers and Tyler Glover; 5 great-great nieces and nephews and several cousins; special friends, George and Jan Washington, Ann Washington, Dickie Britton.

A funeral service for Miss Willene Weaver will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Dr. Ed Hoard, Mr. Rudy Mangham and Reverend Chris Shurtz officiating. Interment will follow at Towaliga Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.
