Reverend William "Bill" Thomas Collins, age 88, of Locust Grove, Georgia, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2020.

He was born Thursday, January 21, 1932 to the late George B. Collins and the late Gladys McGough Collins. Reverend Bill is also preceded in death by his son, David William Collins; daughter, Diane Jones; brother, George Collins. He was Senior Pastor at Church on the Rock, went to surrounding counties and sung gospel music for over 30 years, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, friend and Christian.

Reverend Collins is survived by his wife of 67 years, Hazel Collins; children, Judy Winfrey of Lawton, OK, Paul (Chris) Collins of Jenkinsburg, GA; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Peggy Edwards of Locust Grove, GA; a loving church family; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Church on the Rock (334 Burg Road, Jenkinsburg, GA) with Pastor John Sims officiating. The burial will take place following the service at County Line Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet guest from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the church.
