Mr. William Lamar "Billy" Boggs, age 86, of Barnesville passed away November 21, 2013 at his residence. He was born March 7, 1927 to the late Mr. John Thomas Boggs and the late Mrs. Willie Jane Hardman Boggs. Mr. Boggs worked in the knitting department at the William Carter Company, was a veteran, and a member of the First Untied Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife- Georgina Stevenson Boggs of Barnesville; 1 Daughter- Nancy E. Carter of Parker, CO; 1 Son- William Edward Boggs of Barnesville; 4 Grandchildren- Pennie Boggs Buchanan of Clemmons, NC, William Clayton Boggs of Barnesville, Elizabeth C. Mollman of Parker, CO, and Victoria A. Carter of Aurora, CO; 8 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Mr. William "Billy" Boggs will be conducted Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 2 O'clock in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home with Reverend Dana Overton-Garrett officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Saturday, November 23, 2013 from 1:00pm until the service hour.
