Mr. William Henry Brown Jr., age 72, of Barnesville passed away on Monday, June 18, 2012 at a local hospital. Mr. Brown was born January 28, 1940 in Thomaston, GA to the late William Henry Brown, Sr. and Miriam Weathers Brown. He worked in sales for Jackson products.

Mr. Brown is survived by his wife: Emily Sullivan Brown; daughter and son in law: Amanda (Howard) Layne of Amelia Island, FL; son: William Henry Brown III of Barnesville; his mother: Miriam Elizabeth Brown of Savannah; sister: Betty Brown Shirley of Hilton Head South Carolina; grandsons: Jacob, Isaac, and Abraham; several aunts, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Mr. Brown will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at 11 O' Clock at the Shiloh Lamar Baptist Church with Rev. Jessie Richardson officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, June 20, 2012 at Shiloh Lamar Baptist Church from 7 pm till 9 PM.

In Lieu of flowers the family has requested contributions be made to Shiloh Lamar Baptist Church or your favorite charity.
