William Ronald Carter, of Jackson, GA, died Wednesday, July 4, 2012. He was born June 25, 1955 in Atlanta, GA to the late William Theo and Annie Opal Graves Carter. He loved his grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with his family. William is survived by 2 daughters, Vikki Carter, of Senoia, Michelle Pruitt, of Jackson; son, Justin Carter, of Jackson; 3 granddaughters; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara and Richard Fogg, of Sharpsburg, GA, Brenda and Russell Bowman, of Fayetteville; brother, Richard Carter, of Fayetteville; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 26 years, Susan Carter. Funeral services for William Carter will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Rudy Mangham officiating. Interment will be at Stark United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 - 2:00 PM Saturday.
