Mr. William Tilman "Bill" Cook, age 79, of Griffin, Georgia passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017 at Brightmoor Hospice in Griffin. He was born on Saturday, January 8, 1938 to the late Comer Fur Cook and the late Nera Buckner Cook. Bill loved fishing and cooking. He was a member of Rock Springs Church. Bill cooked with Brother Steve Patterson for the elderly of Rock Springs Church. He was the owner of Cooks Grocery in Orchard Hill for many years. Bill was a proud member of the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Betty Cook; son, David Cook; brother and sister-in-law, Jim Cook and Teresa of Griffin; sisters, Charlott Silvesteri of Griffin, and Jeanette Fitzpatrick of Florida; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 8, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Rock Springs Church with Dr. Benny Tate officiating. Friends may visit the family at the church one hour prior to the service from 1:00 P.M until 2:00 P.M.
