Mr. William Clyde Dawson, age 74, of Barnesville passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2013 in a Thomaston Healthcare facility. Mr. Dawson was born August 24, 1939 to the late Mr. Albert Ross Dawson and the late Mrs. Maggie Mae McKinley Dawson. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Linda Jane Ivey Dawson. He was a county employee for animal control and was a member of Midway Baptist Church.

Survivors include his Daughter- Dara (& Daniel) Wells of Hickory, NC: 4 Sons- David (& Lisa) Dawson of Barnesville, Derek (& Theresa) Dawson of Barnesville, Cary (& Annete) Dawson of Williamsburg, VA, and Darren (& Laura) Dawson of Griffin: 2 Sisters- Mary Ann Smith of Thomaston and Mildred Lloyd of Thomaston: 9 Grandchildren: Numerous Nieces & Nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral Services for Mr. William Dawson will be conducted Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 2 O'clock in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home with Reverend David Dawson officiating. Interment will be held at the Salem Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 29, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at Williams Funeral Home.
