Mr. William Maston Lovejoy, age 95, of Barnesville, Georgia, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

William was born on Thursday, August 9, 1928, in Ranburne, Alabama, to the late Daniel Austin Lovejoy and the late Ollie Morris. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Boggs Lovejoy; son, William Larry Lovejoy; grandson, William Jeffery Lovejoy.

William loved his family and a special lady Miss Betty, and his extended family. He loved gardening, going antiquing, and collected various items of interest. William's favorite saying was "I love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck."

William is survived by his special friend of 40 years; Betty Martin, son; Clay Lovejoy (Jackie), daughter-in-law; Sybil Lovejoy, grandchildren; Brian (Heather), Jillian Wiley (Zachary); 5 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and extended family members.

A Graveside Service for Mr. William Maston Lovejoy will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at 11:30 A.M. at Lamar Memory Gardens with Pastor Jason Teal officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 17, 2024, from 10-11 A.M. at Williams-Westbury Funeral Home prior to the Graveside Service
