Mr. William Thomas “Billy” McBride, age, 74 of Barnesville, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 1, 2026.

Billy was born on Saturday, September 8, 1951, in Barnesville, Georgia, to the late William Albert McBride and the late Sara Alice Faulkner McBride.

Billy loved his family very much, loved spending time with his grandchildren. He served in the National Guard for six years. He was employed with UPS for 32 years. He was a member of Rock Springs Church for many years. He enjoyed playing golf with friends and going to the Casinos. He was an avid UGA fan.

Billy is survived by his son, Bryan McBride (Shareen); grandchildren Graham, Lydia, Brent McBride; sisters, Frankie Conaway, Pat Becker (Wendell); brothers, Richard McBride (Patricia), Johnny McBride, longtime girlfriend, Michelle Freeman. Several nieces, nephews and extended family.

A Funeral Service for Mr. William Thomas “Billy” McBride will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. at Rock Springs Church, with Dr. Bennie Tate officiating. Friends may visit the family from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the Church. Interment will follow at Rock Springs Church Cemetery.

Flowers will be accepted, however those desiring to make a donation in Memory of Billy McBride make payable to Rock Springs Church, 219 Rock Springs Road Milner, Ga. 30257.
