Mr. William "Jeff" Jeffrey Minton, age 40, of Jackson, GA passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018 in Milledgeville, GA. He was born Monday, July 17, 1978 to William Jerry Minton and Vivian Jo VanMeter Minton in Spalding County. William enjoyed playing the guitar. He was preceded in death by daughter, Dahlia Jo Minton.

William is survived by his wife, Stephanie Minton; daughter, Bridgette Minton; grandson, Bentley Minton; mother, Vivian Minton; sister, Tiffany Washington; nieces, Carrie Washington, Emma Williams; grandmother. Shirley VanMeter; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The funeral service for Mr. William "Jeff" Jeffrey Minton will be held at 4:00 P.M. Friday, August 3, 2018 at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Dr. Benny Tate officiating. Interment will follow in the Jackson City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M.
