Mr. William Donald Rowell, age 59, of McDonough formerly of Barnesville, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at Eternal Hope Hospice in Griffin. He was born July 25, 1956 in Atlanta, GA, son of Grace Hammond Rowell of McDonough, and the late William A. Rowell. He formerly worked as a welder and fabricator. Mr. Rowell loved fishing, hunting, and drag racing.

He is survived by his son Adam Rowell of Barnesville; daughter Alyssa Rowell of Barnesville; granddaughter, Alyvia Cape; brothers and sisters and their spouses, Doug and Carla Rowell of St. Louis, MO, Rhonda and Jeff Kelly of McDonough, Janet and Chris Holcombe of Keller, TX, Randy and Lisa Rowell of Griffin, Nancy and Reggie Crane of McDonough; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Friday May 27, 2016 at Breedlove Memorial Chapel. Interment will be in Lamar Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.

The family extends their gratitude to his home health nurse, Joy, Eternal Hope Hospice, Shepherd Spinal Center, and Dr. Robert Miller for their care and compassion.
