Mr. Willie Barnett Collins, Sr., age 84, of Bowling Green, Florida, formerly of Jackson, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2018.

Willie was born on Tuesday, November 21, 1933 in Flovilla, Georgia to the late Henry Collins and the late Bessie Britt Collins. Willie was preceded in death by his first wife, Frances Collins; and a son, James Collins. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force. Willie was the former owner of Jackson Ready Mix. He attended Rock Springs Church and loved to fish.

Willie is survived by his wife, Lynn Collins; daughters, Sherry L. Evans, Teresa A. Collins Smith, Laurie J. King; sons, Willie B. Collins, Jr., Robert M. King, Jr.; four grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Mac and Julie Collins; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. Willie Collins will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, January 22, 2018 in the Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Dr. Benny Tate officiating. Interment will follow in West View Cemetery in Monticello.
