Mr. Willie Tilton Moats, Jr., age 78, of Jackson, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2016 at Wellstar Spalding Regional Hospital. He was born on Tuesday, April 18, 1938 in Louisville, GA to the late Willie Tilton Moats, Sr. and the late Mary Brown Moats. Willie served in the National Guard. He worked for Globe Ticket Company with over 40 years of service. Willie was a member of Stark United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by a son, John Alan Moats.

Willie is survived by his wife of 57 years, Betty Howard Moats; children, James Gregory (Mary Katherine) Moats, Jeffrey Wayne (Denise) Moats, Jerry Lee (Ginger) Moats; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Douglas (Linda) Moats; in-laws, Jack and Harriet Head; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services for Mr. Willie Moats will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Stark United Methodist Church with Reverend Stephen Soulen and Reverend Emory Brackman officiating.
