Mrs. Winnie Henley Gibson, age 84, passed away Monday, October 4, 2010 in a Macon Health Care Facility. Mrs. Gibson was born in Monroe County to the late Mr. William Abe Hammond and to the late Mrs. Nannie Stallings Hammond, and was preceded in death by a son, Mr. Lorenzo Henley. She was Retired from The William Carter Company as a Machine Operator, and she was a Pink Lady at the Heritage Inn Nursing Home. Mrs. Gibson was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church.

Mrs. Gibson is survived by a Son – Glenn Henley of Barnesville ; 2 Grand Daughters – Chasity D. (& Lance) Nickel of Lithonia, & Amber (& Chris) Bowden of Barnesville ; a Grandson – Brandon Lee Henley of Barnesville ; a Great Grand Daughter – Payton Bowden ; a Sister – Mrs. Fairy H. Fowler; several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Winnie Henley Gibson will be conducted from the Graveside on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at 11 O'clock in Lamar Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at Williams Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 from 5pm until 7pm.
