Mrs. Wynell Price Stanton, age 79, of Jackson, GA, passed away Monday, June 10, 2019. She was born on Sunday, March 3, 1940, in Buford, GA to the late Quillen Eugene Price and the late Ethel Mae Keener Price. Mrs. Wynell was a homemaker. She loved flowers and going to the mountains. Mrs. Wynell was preceded in death by her husband, James Stanton, Sr.; and brother, Wayne Keener.

Wynell is survived by her children, Patricia Darlene Smith, Mary Elaine Bryant, James Clifford Stanton, Jr., Renita Ann Higgins, Sharon Lynne Cruz, Carol Annette Martinez; 12 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Leonard and Brenda Price; several nieces and nephews

A funeral service for Mrs. Wynell Stanton will be held at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Preacher Buddy Waldron officiating. Interment will follow the service at Jackson City Cemetery. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
