Wynona Alice Bevil Tyus, age 91, of Milner passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2012. Mrs. Tyus was the daughter of the late Mr. Bluma White Bevil and the late Mrs. Lecky Harris Bevil and was also preceded in death by her husband, Mr. James Drewery Tyus, Sr., by a son, Mr. James Drewery "Jimbo" Tyus, Jr., and by a grandson, Mr. James Andrew Kosar. Mrs. Tyus was a Home Maker and a member of the Milner Baptist Church, where she was a past Sunday School Teacher. She was also a member of the Eastern Star and the VFW Ladies Auxillary.

Survivors include: 3 Daughters - Molly Tyus Shiver (& Chunky), Lynda Tyus Richter (& Rick), & Miriam Tyus Hardman (& Bob) ; 4 Grandchildren - Wanda Shiver Grant, Patricia Shiver Hester, Joseph Jay Kosar, & Robert Tyus Richter ; 8 Great Grandchildren - Jessica Grant, Caroline Grant, Macenzie Hester, Alyssa Kosar, Deven Kosar, James Kosar, Joliene Kosar, & Joseph Jay Kosar, Jr. ; and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Wynona Bevil Tyus will be conducted Friday, April 20, 2012 at 2 O'Clock in the Milner Baptist Church with the Reverend Ben Taylor and the Reverend Garth Forster officiating. Interment will follow in the Milner Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Thursday, April 19, 2012 from 6pm until 8pm.
