Mrs. Yvonne Blackmon McDaniel age 79 passed away Friday, June 9, 2017. She was a native of Yatesville and had lived her adult life in Barnesville. She was predeceased by her parents, Luke and Novella Flowers Blackmon, and her husband Vernon Glenn McDaniel. Mrs. McDaniel was retired from Carters Mill.

Survivors include her daughter, Sherry (& Steve) McDaniel Able of Canton; son, Dennis (Lisa) McDaniel of Fayetteville; grandchildren; Jessica McDaniel of Fayetteville, Austin (Sara) Able of Dawsonville and Brandon (Chelsey) Able of Canton; 3 great grandchildren, Barrett Able, Brantley Able and Braxton Able.

Funeral services for Mrs. Yvonne Blackmon McDaniel will be conducted on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at 2 o'clock inthe Chapel of Williams Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Lamar Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at Williams Funeral Home in Barnesville on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 from 5 pm until 7 pm.
